Geraldi Carvajal is a Certified Public Accountant (Contadora Pública Autorizada) and Incorporated Private Accountant, a graduate of the University of Costa Rica, and a tax specialist certified by the Costa Rican College of Private Accountants. She is currently pursuing a Master's in Corporate Tax Advisory at the University for International Cooperation (UCI).
Her career has focused on understanding how businesses really work from an integral perspective: financial, operational, strategic, and control-related.
She began her career at a Big Four firm, PwC, working as a financial auditor. That experience allowed her to develop a broad, strategic view of business by working with companies across different industries, sizes, and operating models. Beyond reviewing numbers, she learned to understand how every process within an organization directly impacts its finances, sustainability, and ability to grow.
She later continued specializing in internal control and financial risk management at multinational companies such as Accenture, Dole plc, and Grupo Bimbo, working on processes related to compliance, internal control, financial risk mitigation, and strengthening corporate structures.
She is currently the founder and director of Beaver Advisors, the firm through which she supports entrepreneurs and companies in building solid, structured, and sustainable businesses. She has around 10 years of experience in finance, audit, internal control, accounting, and taxes — and a deep passion for understanding and supporting business owners across Costa Rica and Latin America.
